9 Wolves Drafted in OHL Priority Selection

A total of nine (9) Waterloo Wolves players were drafted in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection!

The U16 Waterloo Wolves AAA team had the most players drafted of any team in ALLIANCE Hockey, including the only 1st Round pick from any ALLIANCE Hockey team and 50% of all ALLIANCE Hockey draft picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft!


CONGRATULATIONS to the following players and their families on this tremendous accomplishment:

Beau Akey 1st Round (19th Overall) - Barrie Colts 
Declan Waddick 2nd Round (39th Overall) - Niagara Ice Dogs 
Ethan Hay 3rd Round (46th Overall) - Flint Firebirds 
Jack O'Donnell 5th Round (82nd Overall) - Guelph Storm 
Mitchell Young 7th Round (127th Overall) - Owen Sound Attack 
Jordyn Ertel 10th Round (198th Overall) - Oshawa Generals
Jonas Schmidt 12th Round (232nd Overall) - Owen Sound Attack
Cole MacArthur 12th Round (236th Overall) -Windsor Spitfires
Ryan Forwell 14th Round (272nd Overall) - Owen Sound Attack
