City of Waterloo Facilities - Social Distancing Reminder
Submitted By Tracey Williams on Tue 09 29, 20
Attention: WMHA Parents & Guardians

If you accompany a WMHA player to their practices or games in any City of Waterloo arena you are required by Municipal and Regional mandates to maintain the required social distancing parameters.

The necessary social distancing is managed in all rinks by the placement of chairs around the rink. These chairs are where you are required to help your player prepare for the practice or game and the space you must maintain if you choose to stay for the practice or game.

You CANNOT congregate with others or wander around the arena.

Also, there's a 50 person limit per ice pad. That 50 total includes players, coaches, officials and spectators and in the event we are over maximum spectators, you may be asked to leave.

Failure to maintain the necessary social distancing could lead to no parents or spectators being allowed in the arena or full closure.

Thank you for your co-operation.
