WMHA will be holding a
MANDATORY Body Checking Clinic in April for any U14 Player wishing to attend AAA or AA Tryouts.
There will be two (2) clinics offered on the following dates:
1. Tuesday, April 7th, 2020
2. Thursday, April 9th, 2020
A player is required to choose ONE of the clinics to attend - a player does NOT have to attend both clinics.
Both Clinics will have the same itinerary:
LOCATION: RIM PARK
530pm - Registration, Room 104
6-7pm - Classroom portion of Clinic, Room 104
730-9pm - On Ice portion of Clinic, Optimist Ice Pad
Registration for the clinics will go "live" in March on our website (along with the Tryout Registration form).
There is no additional cost for the clinics - the cost will be part of the tryout fee (to be set in March).
Goalies are required to attend the clinic - the WMHA feels its important for the Goaltenders to hear what the players are learning and there will be shooting incorporated into the on-ice portion of the clinic.
NOTE: if a Player is unable to attend either clinic, they must attend a Body Checking Clinic offered outside of the WMHA to be eligible for tryouts. Confirmation of attendance at a clinic must be provided to the WMHA Office, ie - an email confirmation from the Instructor from the clinic, emailed to the Office at [email protected] PRIOR to the first day of tryouts (week of April 13th).
