The Gene Harrington Tournaments represent an opportunity for the teams from Canada and the USA to meet in Niagara Falls, NY to play teams that they would not normally face during their season.
The tournaments started back in the early Seventies, and have grown considerable over the years. Their popularity in both the US and Canada makes our 3 day events some of the most popular International Hockey Tournaments in North America. Last year hosted we 250 teams from Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, Illinois, Rhode Island, Washington DC, Maryland, Maine, and Ontario, Canada. The diversified field of teams combined with a 2 goal average game differential created an incredible level of excitement, and delivered a memorable event for all that attended.
At Gene Harrington Tournaments we understand the importance of providing a well-organized, competitive hockey tournaments and since a team’s classification does not always provide a fair representation of a team’s caliber we screen each team before placing them in a division. Some of the factors that we consider are your North American hockey ranking if applicable, league record, league stature, and tournament history. We combine this data with direct feedback from the coaching staff to deliver a competitive experience that will make your team stronger, and compete better throughout the balance of your season.
