Home and Home against Burlington
The Waterloo Novice Selects played 2 games in 7 days against a very tough Burlington squad.
The battle started in Burlington where they Wolves met up against a team that had been together since August. That fact showed early as the home squad opened up a quick lead. Once the Wolves found their road legs they but Burlington on their heels and held a lead into the middle of the third period and came away with a very hard fought tie. The second game at home was much the same with the Wolves coming out on the short end of a 3 to 2 score. These two games showed an amazing effort from all players as well as rave reviews from the opposign coaching staff. The team followed up with a pizza party where the fun continued. Great Job Boys.
Next Game is against Cambridge on November 23rd.
