After the team had a big win against Cambridge on December 5. they headed out on their Wolves Give Back Community Event at Hopewell Children's Home.
The Minor Atom AAA team had the opportunity to give back their time just like their coaches and parents do, by spending an afternoon with some very special people at Hopewell Children's Home.
Hopewell provides high quality care for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and complex needs. The team had the opportunity to meet and visit with the residents, make a craft for them, and sing Christmas songs while spreading the spirit of giving. These young players demonstrated patience, compassion and empathy and experienced just another great way to give back to others.
