Mountain Wolves vs Kitchener Jr Rangers Black
Kitchener Jr Rangers Black managed to tie the season series with a win over the Mountain Wolves 2 - 1.

It was another great game up and down the ice for the Mountain Wolves last night. For the second game in a row, the boys showed a solid defensive effort and a pressure packed offense as the Kitchener team faced a barrage of assaults from everyone on the team.

Goaltender, Jacob Craig came up big for the boys stopping several scoring opportunities and a few breakaways by Kitchener. "I stood my ground and put the pressure back on the shooter to come up big. That was the key to stopping all those shots on net!" said Jacob.

With time running down in the second, Declan Uniac shovelled the puck into the Kitchener net on a pass from Jake Patterson and Ryan Ritter making it 1 - 0 for Waterloo.

Late in the third, Kitchener went ahead 2 - 1 scoring two goals of their own. With only 45 seconds left in the game, Thomas Chan was robbed on a shot to the upper corner of the net.

Great effort boys. Gook luck against the Burlington teams this weekend.
