Mountain Wolves vs Kitchener Jr Rangers Black
By far, the best game of the season as the Waterloo Mountain Wolves beat the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Black team 4 - 2.

From the drop of the first puck to the final buzzer, the boys came out and played the full 35 minutes.

Goalie, Blake McCleod, was nearly unbeatable for the first two periods. There was a flurry of scoring chances by Kitchener that Blake had to use his cat like reflexes to turn the puck away. "The puck looked like a beach ball" said Blake!

It was the big line of Thomas Chan, Cole Hunsberger and Owen McCleod that did all the scoring. Thomas had 2 goals and 2 assists, Cole had 1 goal and 2 assists, Owen had 1 goal and 1 assist, defenseman Sebastian Dupuis-Bissonnette and Jake Patterson each picked up an assist. Huge night boys.

The line of Quade Willson, Holden Parker, Easton Oberholtzer and the line of Declan Uniac, Ryan Ritter, Jack Droumtsekas all had plenty of scoring opportunities and provided plenty of thrills and cheers for the home crowd.

The defensive teams of Aidan MacKinnon, Kayden Haig, Cole Tiegs, Tyler Rutherford, Sebastian Dupuis-Bissonnette and Jake Patterson all were flawless as they tighened up the defense around the net and held the puck in at the blue line in the offensive zone. I'd say the hardest players of the game goes to - - the entire team!

All these months of hard work paid off on this victory boys. Keep working hard down the home stretch. See you for the rematch on Friday in Kitchener's backyard.
