Mountain Wolves vs Burlington Bulldogs Red
A rematch against the Burlington Bulldogs yielded the same results as the Mountain Wolves lost 3 - 1 on Sunday.
The team worked very hard at both ends of the ice once again as they held the Bulldogs to only 3 goals. The defense chipped in and pushed the puck around the boards to the forwards.
With the Wolves down 1 - 0 late in the second, Jacob Craig made a spectacular glove save on a breakaway shot headed for the top corner.
Holden Parker could not seal the deal as he walked in alone to challenge the Bulldog's goalie. Then Easton Oberholtzer sent Quade Willson in alone and came up short. There were plenty of scoring chances for the team but the puck seemed to elude the back of the net.
Mid way through the 3rd period there was a mad scramble in front of the Bulldogs net as Thomas Chan burried the puck in from the side of the net. This noched Thomas' 3rd goal in 4 games. Way to go Thomas!
The team is on a 4 game scoring streak. Keep going boys as you face the Wild Wolves on Saturday and then St. Catharines on Sunday.
