Mountain Wolves vs Burlington Red
It was a game to be proud of despite losing 3 - 1 to the Burlington Red team.
It was the aggressive battles for the puck and the specialty teams that shut down their opponents most of the game.
The team found themselves in penalty trouble for two periods. In fact, they endured two 5 on 3 penalty kills not allowing any goals or scoring opportunities. Helmets off to Cole Hunsberger, Thomas Chan, Holden Parker, Jake Patterson and Cole Tiegs for their excellent effort during the two major penalty kills.
It was not until the last minute of the game before Owen McLeod found the back of the net on a pass from linemates Cole Hunsberger and Thomas Chan. Way to keep the game scoring streak alive.
Everything is starting to fit together nicely as the boys continue their aggressive play and keep their opponents to the outside.
It was an awesome game boys. Ride this high into next weekend against Burlington Black and Cambridge Red.
