Mountain Wolves vs Brantford 99er's
A slow start was the difference as the Wolves lost 9 - 3 to the Brantford 99er's.

The boys dug themselves a hole going down 4 - 0 after 7 minutes of play in the first period. A change in strategy and a bit of man to man converage took care of Brantford as their offense found themselves stymied.

On an assist from Thomas Chan and Owen McLeod, Cole Tiegs snapped a wrist shot from the blue line into the back of the net. The Brantford goalie never saw it coming. Even the ultra slow motion of the camera could not see the puck sail through the air.

Thomas Chan scored part way in the third to bring the game within reach. Cole Hunsberger and Owen McLeod assisted on the goal.

There was a bit of confusion on the third goal but Ryan Ritter slammed it in the back of the net to give the Mountain Wolves three goals on the game. Jack Droumtsekas came out of nowhere to pick up the assist on Ryan's goal.

The team picked up the pace after the first period. There was a lot of forechecking, backchecking and solid passes between linemates to create several scoring opportunities.

Aidan MacKinnon single handedly thwarted 4 glorious scoring opportunities by Brantford to keep the score in the single digits. Solid work! Let the game scoring streak begin.

Good luck against Burlington on Sunday boys!
