Mountain Wolves vs Amherst Knights
A hard end and an early exit at the Preston Invitational as the Mountain Wolves lost 6 - 0 to Amherst Knights.
In a rugby-scrum filled game, the puck seemed to bounce in the direction of Amherst resulting in the puck in the back of our net.
The team worked hard even though they were shut out on the score sheet. The quick hands and fast feet of Cole Hunsberger provided three breakaways only to be stonewalled by the Amherst goaltender. Someone heard that the Amherst's goalie is the son of Martin Brodeur. Since Amherst is from New York, it surely seems a credible rumour. Keep going Cole, good things will start to happen.
