MINOR MIDGET AAA WOVLES FINISH 1st IN ALLIANCE
The Waterloo Minor Midget Wolves finished off their regular season with an impressive 23-5-4 record. The Wolves finished 1st in the East Division 11 pts ahead of 2nd place Huron Perth and 1st OVERALL in the Alliance 1 pt ahead of London.
The Wolves finished 1st in Alliance in goals for averaging 3.81 a games and 1st in Goals Against averaging only 1.66
As well The trio of Chase Campbell, Brendan Schneider and Boris Katchouk finished 1-2-3 in league scoring. Campbell had 32 goals and 40 assists in 31 games. Schneider had 20 goals and 40 assists in 32 games and Katchouk had 25 goals and 33 assists in 29 games.
Logan Stanley was the top scoring defenseman in the league with 8 goals and 20 assists in 28 games
Matthew Chan lead the league in GAA with an outstanding 1.34 and also save percebtage which was a solid .937
Wolves look forward to the first round bye and a couple of weeks off to fine tune game and some much needed R & R
