Former Waterloo Minor Midget AAA player Brett Schaefer (2013-14) has signed with the Wellington Dukes Tier 2 Jr A of the OJHL Tier 2.

Schaefer, an 18 year old native of Kitchener, Ontario joins the Dukes after a successful freshman campaign with the
Waterloo Siskins Jr. B Hockey Club. In 48 games, the speedy forward scored 11 goals, 15 assists and 26 points in the
15-16 season. Asst. Coach/Asst.GM Ryan Woodward said, "Brett is a tenacious forward that plays with a high
compete level in all three zones. We expect him to have
an immediate impact on our hockey club next season."
