MD - Minor Peewee Black vs Woodstock Jr Navy Vets
Waterloo had plenty of ground support as they took care of Woodstock Jr Navy Vets in a 3 - 0 shutout style.

The boys brought out the big howitzer in the first period as they score three goals in the first five minutes of the game. Hunter McMurdo fed Jake Millington to open the scoring two minutes into the game. The team kept up the pressure in front of Woodstock's net. Lukas Babensee picked up his third goal of the weekend on a pass from Riley Waters and Nathan Edwards. To round out the scoring, Babensee fired the puck from the corner to Cam McDonald. Cam scooped the puck making it three to nothing.

Once again, the boys had a bit of penalty trouble and were down two men shortly into the second. The defense took it from there as Jack Murtha single handedly blocked three shots on net in succession. Woodstock never got a shot off during their powerplay.

Waterloo held their ground in the third period as they limited Woodstock's shots on net to just two. There was some very sweet passing to the open winger and the man out front. Great bounce back effort boys. Keep going.

Good luck as you face the red hot Stratford Warrior team on Tuesday night.
