You may have noticed that there are 2 tournaments that have
been added to the Wasps schedule. Both
tournaments are only 1 day (fun festivals) so that should cut down on tournament
and travel costs. The first tournament
is in Arthur on Sunday, Feb 5th and the second tournament is in
Tavistock on Friday, Mar 17th (the second Friday of the
March break and the day before the Year End Tournament starts).
Rosters for the tournaments will consist of 17 players (15 skaters and 2 goalies). As mentioned earlier in the season, there will be an additional cost (in addition to the exhibition fees) to play in tournaments. The cost will be $25.00 per player per tournament.
I will be sending out 1 Google Form that will include both tournaments. You will then select the tournament(s) your child is available to play in. If they are available to play in both tournaments then select both tournaments as there will be a limited number of players/goalies that will participate in both tournaments in order to fill the rosters. Based on the responses I will make the rosters for each tournament. The goal is to have every player participate in one tournament. Once every child has been rostered in a tournament, the remaining spots will first be filled by players of coaches/trainers and players who want to play goalie and then based on the names that are submitted first using the form.
Rosters for the tournaments will be posted on the Wasps Team Page. Payment will be due once the rosters have been posted.
