Waterloo Ice Wolves attended a University of Waterloo Warriors vs University of Toronto game as an off ice function on Friday night. The evening also included a Warrior dressing room tour and discussion hosted by Warriors Head Coach Brian Bourque. Brian discussed the importance of blending academics and sports for the Warriors. The boys met the Warrior Team after the pre-game skate and enjoyed pizza in between the 1st and 2nd periods.
Burlington Game
Waterloo Ice Wolves were on the road in Burlington on Saturday night for their only game this week. The Wolves were unable to scrape out any points in this game as they fell behind 2-0 by the end of the 2nd period. Late in the 3rd period with a penalty called against Burlington, Waterloo pulled their goalie for a 6 on 4 man advantage and forced a marker between the pipes. Burlington staved off another offensive push with under a minute left in the game and sent Waterloo home with a 2-1 defeat.
