Novice Timber Wolves vs Hamilton Huskies Black
The Wolves failed to avoid losing 5 in a row as Hamilton Black came out on top today by a score of 8 - 1.

"We saw a lot of solid hockey today despite what the scoreboard showed," said bench coach Dan Uniac. Matthew Johnstone was extremely solid on defense as he stripped the forwards of the puck when the opportunity presented itself. Griffin Beddis turned it up a notch or two as he had the most chances to score the teams first goal including a blistering shot off the crossbar in the second period. He was like a "man on fire" exclaimed line mate Tim Hodson.

Jake Patterson had a bivy of rushes up the ice and Thomas Chan punished any forward he could get his stick on. Finn Skuterud made  several breakout passes to his teammate that led to a few good scoring chances. Late in the third period Quade Willson's slap pass to speedster Cole Hunsberger finally broke the goose egg as Cole ripped one through the 5 hole.

Keep working hard boys, you are doing great!
