Novice Timber Wolves vs Hamilton Huskies Black
The Timber Wolves played the pipes all afternoon coming up with a 3 - 1 loss to Hamilton.

The boys put together a very respectable and solid performance this afternoon. They picked up where they left off from last weekend's tournament. There was plenty of scoring chances for the team. Griffin Beddis walked in alone and just missed the far side as he let one rip in the first period. Later on, Griffin rang one off the post nearly giving the team the lead. The defensive core were exceptional as they shutdown the Huskies not allowing any quality scoring chances.

In the second period, Cole Hunsberger fired a low shot that rocketed past the Huskies goalie only to hit the far post. Thomas Chan chimed in on the next shift as he hit the post on a wicked backhand shot. The forward applied pressure on their opponents. Austin Zappitelli stood tall in net making save after save. He even stopped a blistering slap shot from point blank range.

Griffin hit his second post on the day mid way to start the third period. The boys finally broke through as Aidan MacKinnon passed the puck up to Finn Skuterud. Jacob Stark provided the screen on the Huskie's goalie as Finn picked up the only goal for the Wolves.

Excellent end to end action all game long. Great effort boys. You are steadily improving with each game.

Seamus Riley-McKay received the hardest worker helmet for an excellent back check thwarting a sure 3 on 1 breakaway.

Good luck next weekend in Brantford.
