NEW POLICY - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
The process for the Vulnerable Sector Checks will be centralized and conducted by the Ontario Hockey
Federation (OHF) for all Team Officials and Team Personnel for the
2024-25 season.
It is imperative for all Team Officials to ensure their Vulnerable Sector Check is complete to be eligible to participate in programs on and off the ice, for this upcoming season.
This includes a valid Vulnerable Sector Check and the OHF Screening Declaration Form.
Here are the steps to ensure you are compliant for the upcoming 2024-25 Season:
1) Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check from the WRPS OR use a copy of a VSC obtained for the 2023-24 Season. Ensure the check is in PDF format.
2) Complete the OHF Screening Declaration Form (click HERE to access the form). Ensure the form is saved in PDF format.
3) Obtain your Hockey Canada Registry (or HCR) number. This number can be found on your current Roster (beside your name) or on your HCR profile, via the registry portal (where you would register for clinics or check your qualifications each season). If you don't have this number, please reach out to our Office, and we will provide.
4) Once you have all 3 items - please CLICK HERE to being the OHF VSC submission process.
