ATTENTION: GOALTENDERS (BORN: 2011)
Upon additional guidance from ALLIANCE Hockey, we have been asked to reach out to Goaltenders entering the U14 age group to invite them to attend the Body Checking Clinics being offered as part of the tryout packages.
Your attendance is not mandatory; however, encouraged as there will be specific training provided to goaltenders around the topic of body checking.
Should you not be able to attend the clinics being offered this weekend, additional clinics will offered in the Fall, prior to the start of the season. These clinics will be open to both our U13 aged players (who may AP to a U14 age group where body checking is permitted) and to our U14 aged goaltenders (U14 aged players MUST attend a body checking clinic before tryouts).
There is no cost for the clinic, as long as your player is registered for tryouts.
The clinics are open to all Waterloo resident players, those currently playing in Waterloo on an F1 Waiver, or all Zone resident players.
