TOURNAMENT
OVERVIEW
The
Gold Puck Tournament is an annual tournament hosted by the Waterloo Wolves and
the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association. The Gold Puck hosts the best U16 and U18
AAA teams from the ALLIANCE, OMHA, GTHL, NOHA, HEO and United States. It will
be held at RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex in Waterloo, Ontario from December
8-10, 2023.
The
U16 AAA Division will have 16 teams competing in 4 groups made up of 4 teams,
while the U18 AAA Division will have 20 teams competing in 4 groups made up of
5 teams.
Groups
will consist of teams that compete in different leagues during the regular
season, meaning round robin games will be played against teams from other leagues (ALLIANCE teams will not play other ALLIANCE teams, GTHL teams will not play other GTHL teams, etc).

Minor Hockey Association has partnered with EventConnect for
the upcoming tournament season as its official and exclusive accommodations provider.
EventConnect has
worked very closely with the Tournament and local hotels to provide the best
options on amenities, value and location. We recommend that teams use the
hotels provided through this software as they help support our tournament.

REFUND
POLICY
Any
team registered and accepted by the WMHA Tournament Committee that
withdraws after the registration close date of November 1st, 2023 will
forfeit their tournament fee(s) paid.
Please
note, ALL teams will be notified via email with confirmation of Acceptance by
the Tournament Director.
Upload
approved Rosters and Travel Permits on the Team Dashboard as they become
available.
