U10B Wolves with a Big Team Effort!
After a long stretch of road games our Wolves hosted the North London Nationals back home at our noisy rink on Saturday afternoon.
This was the second half of a home and home with the Nationals after a hard fought 1-1 tie last Sunday. Our Wolves came to the rink focused and prepared and delivered one of their most complete games of the year against a tough team, winning 6-2. It was a big game for us as we continue towards our TEAM goal of making it to the Alliance Championships.
Milk Up is one of our generous sponsors this year, at our home games they provide us with chocolate milk for our Wolves and our opponents. After the game our players and coaches deliver the milk to the other team to congratulate them on their game and enjoy the treat! This has been a wonderful intitiative for our young team as they have really learned great lessons of sportsmanship and fair play. You see the smiles and goodwill from the two teams in this picture after just battling for an hour, it is what this great game of hockey is all about.
