Solid Start To The Season
The Wolves U15 MD Gold had a great opening weekend taking three points out of a possible four.
The Wolves travelled Brantford last Friday night coming home with a 5-5 tie after a great back and forth battle with the 99r's in their first action of the season. Saturday they met the Burlington Bulldogs White in their home opener at RIM park. Burlington would come out strong shocking the Wolves with three goals in the first five minutes taking an early and commanding lead. The Wolves battled back hard with great success netting four goals in the second period and one more for some insurance in the third to steal the 5-3 win. This Wolves team looks to be strong and well able to score goals this season with ten in their first two games.
This weekend the team will see their first tournament action of the season in the Cambridge Early Bird MD Classic beginning Friday afternoon at 5:15pm. Bring your proof of vaccination and come out to see these boys turn on the heat!
