Teddy Bear Toss with the Rangers
The U13 MD Wolves had the opportunity to attend the Annual Teddy Bear Toss at the Aud this week and had the privilege of collecting the teddy bears. When the Rangers scored in the first period, it was showering teddy bears - over 7,000 in fact!! Our boys, decked out in their jerseys, took to the ice to collect bears and load up the pick up trucks. Bears will be distributed to hospitals and shelters in our community. Said one goalie Mom - "I wish my son would clean up his room as quickly as he cleaned up those teddy bears!!" A wish likely shared by many hockey moms!!
Way to go boys - you cleaned up so fast that you've earned yourselves a pizza party!
