Pat LaRock Memorial Peterborough Tournament
The Minor Peewee AAA boys travelled North this past weekend to the Pat LaRock Memorial tournament in Peterborough.
The Wolves took to the ice Friday coming out strong and winning both games versus the Ottawa Valley Silver Seven and the Peterborough Petes! One more win on Saturday against the North Central Predators had us finishing first in our division. We ended up with a tough draw and saw ourselves versing the London Jr Knights in the quarter finals. Unfortunately with half of the team under the weather and also versing last year and this years tournament champions, Waterloo came out a little short. Not the ending we were looking for but the boys had an amazing team bonding weekend with bowling and lots of fishing! The boys are looking forward to versing Kitchener September 20th for our first official league game! Come cheer them on!
