The Wolves kept the "Hammer Down" in Hamilton
The Wolves travelled to Hamilton on a mild and rainy afternoon for a game against the Hamilton Blues in an old barn named after ex-NHLer Dave Andreychuk. Our boys coming off a strong effort in Guelph were feeling pretty good about themselves...............

I reminded the boys in the room before the game that it was their hard work and overall team play that brought the success Monday. The message I offered was not that the boys "can" - skate hard, pass, shoot, save attack the puck, have fun but rather they "will" do all of these things, and if each player believes this the success will continue.

It was a scoreless first period but our boys were completing more passes, and opportunities then the rivals from Hamilton. I reminded them to have more guys in front of the net as their goalie was making many first saves but leaving many juicy rebounds.

In the second the chances continued and it was the wolves that scored the lone goal - 1-0 - Good goal Cameron (nice tape job I might add - haha)

The third was a run time period - 19 min to give us as much ice time as possible, the wolves started driving the net, taking shots on net and in the end overall dominating to the final whistle. The third saw another hat trick - this time from Jory and another goal by Matteo - total 5 - 0 Wolves - Game over.

Congrats to both Jack and Brad for their double shutouts, great effort for both.

Get ready for London boys it is going to be fun, and exciting. Hoping to bring some memorable experiences and overall team fun for the boys and parents.

See you at the rink
