It was a Waterloo match up Sunday evening at Lions Arena that would end up with one Waterloo team earning two points and the other....well...
It is always a great game when the two Waterloo teams meet up. A chance to play with former teammates and friends where both teams feel they have the inside scoop on what the players are capable of. The first period saw Waterloo White come out strong. Some great passes, clean shots and quick clearing of our zone allowed White to highlight their skills. With a beautiful goal, the Waterloo White team made their presence known. However, as the second period began, the team would struggle with the skills they displayed in the first period. A hard shot on target, that did find the back of the net but was ruled a 'no goal', seemed to put Waterloo White in a funk. #44 Dupuis-Bissonnette found the top left corner, just over the shoulder of Waterloo Black's goalie, that revived Wolves White. However, puck luck was definitely on the side of Waterloo Black as they managed to sneak three goals in to earn themselves a 3-2 victory. Congratulations to both teams for your efforts.
