Minor Atom Select Wolves extend win streak to 9 games!!!
The Minor Atom Select Wolves traveled to Oakville Thursday night to extend there 8 game winning streak. There they battled hard against the host Rangers who were looking to avenge an earlier loss to Waterloo.
The Wolves came through again to hand the Rangers their second loss of the season with a 3-0 win. Our defence was solid shutting down the Rangers at every turn. An early goal by Jackson M held up as the winner thanks to the heroic goaltending of Brad R and Ciaran G in a combined 22-save shutout.
Additional goals by Matteo M in the first and Adam C in the second period rounded out the scoring for the team with each line delivering a goal in the game. The boys will be looking to finish off strong with their final game of the season next Wednesday in Burlington before heading to the Alliance Championships next month in Brantford. Great work boys, we're very proud of you.
