Tough competition and a closed highway can't stop these players!
The Minor Bantam MD White travelled down the 401 once again this season for our last tournament of the year - and came out Champions!
Starting off Friday with Burlington and players stuck in a 401 traffic jam, we battled to a hard fought win with a very short bench. In a preview of the finals, the afternoon matchup had a great match with a 3-3 tie with the Sarnia Sting. Saturday featured some traditional home town rivalry's as we battled for wins over Waterloo Black and Kitchener.
In the Sunday semi-finals, we won a tight back and forth battle with Oakridge and their stingy defence and strong goaltending. Off to the finals and our rematch with Sarnia! Our team pulled together a great performance and pulled out all the stops against a solid, skilled, and tough Sarnia team.
The parents and coaches are proud of these young men for a great weekend, positive attitudes, and teamwork. Great job Wolves!
