Tough Loss
It was a tough loss last night against Kitchener Jr. Rangers Red for the Wolves. Waterloo had been without their head coach last weekend and with his return this week, the players, coaches and fans had high hopes.

With some 'professional video footage' of recent games, the coaches had noticed a few areas in our game that could use some adjusting. Practices this week involved a little extra conditioning, as well as additional ice time to work on match ups and pairings. Players and coaches wanted to be ready for Friday night's game against rivals Kitchener Red, knowing that they would need to be on their game.
It was a rough start to the game as the Jr. Rangers scored two goals in the first period. The Wolves would need to dig deep and keep pushing forward. As the second period got underway, Waterloo found themselves in a power play and took full advantage of the opportunity. #3 Miller assisted as #4 Beckner managed to get one passed Kitchener's goalie. However, the same rang true for the Jr. Rangers as they materialized two power play goals in the third period. The Wolves just couldn't close the gap.
Several players put in a great effort with speed, focus, effort and determination. As we head to Brantford to face the 99ers the Waterloo Wolves will need to keep their spirits up and play with a purpose. Go Wolves Go!
