Waterloo Black vs Burlington White
Well it was a quick scoring game on Sunday evening as Waterloo Wolves Black faced off against the Burlington Bulldogs White squad. Waterloo starting the scoring with a hard shot from the blue line by defence #14, Jespersen that was perfectly placed in by forward #7, Williams. And the goals just kept coming from that point.
It was clear that Burlington would not sit back and let Waterloo take over. The Bulldogs placed in a few goals of their own, causing the Wolves defence to adjust deep in their zone. Clearing the puck out quickly, with a hard shot beyond the blue would be essential to help set up the forwards. C. Eamer, #66, did a great job, attacking the puck, removing time and space from the Bulldogs, while #88, Langlois was solid in the corners. It was definitely a team effort during this game, with a variety of different players making the game sheet. #44, Schaefer, passed to #19 Bosomworth who set up #4 Beckner for a great demonstration of how passing the puck around and positioning ourselves well can pay off with a beautiful goal. Many of the Wolves goals were scored this way, resulting in a 7-4 victory. Well done Waterloo!
