November Update
The Wolves have continued to develop as a team and as young hockey players.

On November 5, we went to Cambridge to play the Hawks for the first meeting of the season.  A lot of effort, hard work and the ability to stay out of the penalty box paid off with the Wolves earning a 3-1 win.

The weekend of the 11th/12th found us playing both Burlington teams.  The first game of the weekend, we played the Bulldogs (Red).  The Bulldogs came out flying and caught us off guard with 3 quick goals.  The Wolves didn’t give up and battled back to 3-2 at the end of the second.  In the third, we fell a little short and the game ended with a 5-2 loss.

The following day, the Bulldogs (White) travelled to Waterloo for our second meeting of the year.  The Wolves were looking for redemption after losing the first meeting, 3-2, back in early October.  The atmosphere in the dressing room showed that the Wolves were ready to go.  At the end of the first period the Wolves had a 3-1 lead.  The second period was scoreless and the Wolves out-scored the Bulldogs 3 to 2 in the third.  The final result was a 6-3 win for Waterloo.

On November 19, an undefeated Hamilton Huskies (White) team came to town.  Our Wolves skated hard and put forth a lot of effort.  Unfortunately, Hamilton played well and came out with a 5-1 win.

In addition to the hockey games and practices the boys have enjoyed some more dry-land training sessions with Coach Rachael.

Thanks to the social committee, we also had an excellent team building event with some friendly competition and rock climbing.

The Wolves are off to Burlington this weekend to participate in their second tournament of the year.

WOLVES ALL IN!
