Novice MD Red played their 41st game of the year this past weekend and won big with 2 points
The young Wolves played a dominating game and faced a very good goaltender for the Burlington Bulldogs, outshooting them 30-14.

The Wolves were down two team members, but like any strong team, they pulled together and pulled out a big win.  This opened a different opportunity for the Wolves to look at some tweaks to the lines, along with some forward and defense adjustments.

These adjustments provided a learning opportunity and a different chemistry with the boys.  This chemistry showed up in the play between Dre and Pax Attack where the two made some key passes and popped in a couple beauties.  Along with this, we saw Kinger, Jonesy and Strachs also make a different type of force up front with some great plays and goals that put the boys up a few more.  Double J and Cruiksy showed fight along the boards and being first on the puck!

Versatility, skating and puck awareness seemed to be other attributes that the Wolves have been gaining through the course of the year, by simply adjusting to different roles, through game experience.  Tias moved up front and looked comfortable in an offensive situation.  With this offset, The Fiddler, Couzy and Strachs rounded out the D with strong support from Hutty, Monty and Fitzy.  Hutty, Monty and Fitzy also transitioned the game from Defense to Offense with quick puck movement and protecting the blue line.

The game ended at 8-0, proving that offense will add goals to the scoreboard but only a strong team will put up a 0 GAA!  The difference between a good team and a Great team is also a combination of solid goaltending,  which Reider and Rowe provides night in and night out.

The Wolves celebrated a day away from the rink with a great deal of fun and some team building on Sunday.  The boys have a quieter week coming up with a big game on Sunday Mar 4th against the Cambridge Hawks.
