Tier 1 Challenge
It was official, Waterloo Wolves Minor PeeWee MD Black made it to the playoffs, only to face number one seed Kitchener Jr. Rangers Blue. Blue has been at the top of the tier, accumulating many wins and an abundance of points, but this would only fuel Waterloo to work as a team.

It was a tight game. First period of play ended with no score. Both teams meant business. Second period of play was a display of two determined teams. Two teams who wanted to continue their win streak. Waterloo was not going to give up easily; not even to a skilled Kitchener Blue team who deservedly earned first place in tier one. Third period looked like it was going to end with a scoreless game, however, in true Kitchener style, they fought to the bitter end and slipped one in during the final seconds of the game to earn them a 1-0 win. Congratulations to Kitchener for gaining the first one in the series. The only win that Waterloo would give them!
Well done and congratulations to #33, Hulka for his outstanding play in net. Lightening fast reflexes, nerves of steel and great saves in net are what make him an excellent goalie for our team. One of the best in the league. Keep up the great work as we continue our series against Kitchener.
