2016/17 Season Quickly Approaching
With the summer quickly passing we begin preparations for the new season. This year will be an exciting season as the structure changes with the addition of AAA and A/AA. This change will level off the competition levels we saw in some centers last year allowing for a more level playing field.
As most of you are out at different training programs getting ready for the season we are in the midst of laying out our schedule. Tournaments this year will consist of the "John MacDonald Memorial Tourney" in St. Catharines in mid October, the Capital Mid Season Classic in Ottawa in late November, and the Wayne Gretzky Tourney in Brantford over the Christmas break. This year's focus will again be heavily geared toward skill and individual tactic improvement progressing in a little more team tactic work as we move into the season. I greatly look forward to seeing all of last year's faces along with many new ones at tryouts this year. Good luck to everyone, we hope to see your best on the ice.
