Alliance Minor Bantam AAA Championship
The Waterloo Wolves Minor Bantam AAA Team have advanced to
the Alliance Championship against their crosstown rivals the Kitchener Junior
Rangers after defeating the Brantford 99ers 3 games to 2 in the quarter finals
and then sweeping the London Junior Knights 3 games to zero in the semifinals.
It has been quite a playoff run for the Wolves as they fell behind the Brantford 99ers 2 games to none. Even with that second game loss in overtime to the 99ers who won the league championship the past two years, the Wolves clawed back for 3 consecutive victories. The momentum they gained from that series continued on as they faced the London Junior Knights and defeated them as well.
Come on out and support the boys as they kick off their series against the Kitchener Junior Rangers on Friday, March 10, at Sportsworld (Spectator Rink). Be loud and cheer on the guys. The rest of the schedule is below:
