I
would like to welcome you and your child to the Stingers. The season is
set to begin tomorrow, Friday, September 30th at 6:30pm at RIM Park (Optimists
Rink). I will be handing out jerseys and socks in the dressing
room. The Head Coaches for this group will be Justin Black and Jamie Joseph. A big thank you to the both of you for
volunteering your time.
I would encourage you to subscribe to the Stingers schedule so that you will be notified of any changes to the schedule or any news that is posted. You can set this up by doing the following:
1) On the WMHA home page http://waterloominorhockey.com/ scroll down the page until you see Manage Subscriptions (right under OHF Symbol) on the left of the page.
2) Select the "email" hyperlink.
3) Enter your email address when prompted.
4) Scroll down until you find "Pre Tyke 2010", and then check the boxes beside "Stingers" for the type of notifications that you want (there are 4 options).
5) Hit the "Save" button at the top of the form and you are done and will receive change notifications that are made up to 90 days out.
I will be scheduling exhibition games against other centers. Please note that there will be an additional cost to participate in exhibition games. More details to follow.
In addition, the kids are encouraged to try the goalie position this year. The equipment will be provided and will be made available at the rink. Your Head Coaches will let you know when this will begin.
