This week in Novice Red Hockey!
Welcome to
the first Novice Red news update! We hope to do this weekly to review our
weekend scores and look to the week ahead.
It was an even weekend with a dominant 6-0 win against Stratford at home and a tough 0-7 loss to the 99ers at the impressive Gretzky Centre in Brantford. Many of the boys are continuing to improve their play as they learn new positions; everyone is working hard to adapt and demonstrating an impressive learning curve. Looking ahead, they will have lots of ice time to continue improving their skills before the Georgina tournament December 11-13. The boys will re-convene on Friday night for a practice at McCormick at 5:30pm (no early mornings this week!) in preparation for a 6pm home game against Hamilton on Saturday. With a break next Sunday, they'll be back for lots of practices the following week, including TWO early morning practices AND Wolf Pack hockey, before their next tournament.
