Great Tournament THUNDER!!
Well done, Thunder!!
What a great first tournament!!
Over 5 hard fought games, we clearly improved in so many areas and really connected as a team on and off the ice!
We should be very proud of our offensive efforts as we scored an averaged 5 goals a game with goals from every line and points from every player including the D!! How is that for team effort! (Shout out to Matt P who led way with 15 pts and all our forwards for continuing to shoot and rebound hunt until the very last whistle.) And we allowed only 2.4 goals againsts on average, much improving our defensive play. ( shout out to all the D and Big Mack who was were stellar and especially our one armed defensive back, Abbie K). It was unfortunate that the schedule worked against us - having to play 3 games on Sat and then an early game today on Olympic ice after a late night. But such is hockey.
Let's take all we learned into our league play next week!.
Thanks to the manager and all the helpers for their help in organizing this weekend! Mr Kim wins the award for the best fan for wearing his blue every game! Go Thunder
