Timber Wolves season comes to a close
The MD Atom Timber Wolves had their action-packed season come to an end with a loss to Kitchener Red yesterday in the Tier 1 Semifinals, finishing the series down 4 points to 1.  It marks the end of a great year for the Timber Wolves...

The Timber Wolves finished with a 27-14-10 record with excitement and fun the entire way.  The Boys in Black and Yellow worked hard throughout the entire year and managed to pull off some dramatic victories along the way.

A regular season record of 13-5-4 led the boys to a tie for second out of twelve teams and a spot in the Tier 1 playoffs.  The boys finished strong in the playoffs with a 6 game unbeaten streak to earn a spot in the Seminfinals series with #1 ranked Kitchener Red.

The boys also enjoyed great success in the three tournaments they played in, with a combined record of 11-3-1.  Unfortunately there was no hardware to be found but there were several memories made along the way!  Eyeball ping pong balls, a heated courtyard football game, the Skywheel, and a bunch of less-than-tame restaurant appearances to name a few.

The coaches would like to thank all the players for their commitment and energy level throughout the entire season, and wish them all success with their future teams in the coming years.  Coaches and players would also like to thank the parents for their ongoing support of the team.  We couldn’t have done it without you!

Enjoy the spring and we hope to see you all around the rink next year!
