Oktoberfest Tournament October 24-26
The Ice Wolves had a good run to reach the Semi’s in their first
tournament of the season; the Oktoberfest Tournament in Kitchener.
With two decisive wins against Cambridge
and Hespeler, and two hard fought tie games against Leitrim and Kitchener Blue,
the Wolves finished as the Fourth Seed and reached the Semi Finals.
The Wolves had a great team lunch on the Saturday at The
Chill in Waterloo, taking some time
to get to know each other better.
Early Sunday morning the Waterloo Ice Wolves met the Waterloo
Timber Wolves for the first time in the season for the Semi Final. It was an intense
and physical battle. The Timber Wolves won this round 3-1 to face Kitchener
in the Final.
