Midget AAA Freedom of Movement
The Midget AAA Freedom of Movement pilot that began in 2013 will continue for the upcoming season.

Midget AAA Freedom of Movement

·         The Midget AAA Freedom of Movement Pilot applies to 16 and 17-year-old Midget AAA players.

·         Until August 23, 2014 players are not permitted to attend tryouts outside of their residential centre.

·         The AAA program a player is eligible to attend is based on the player’s habitual residence.  Players are eligible to tryout and participate for any Major Midget AAA team in the Member Partner to which their residential centre belongs (In this case, any center within Alliance Hockey).

·         To play for a Major Midget AAA team outside of Alliance Hockey, a Member Partner Release Letter needs to be obtained from the Alliance office in Stratford.

·         Players from the Waterloo AAA Zone are no longer required to provide a Permission to Skate form, however proof of residence will be needed when attending the first tryout.

·         Players from other Alliance centres will be required to present proof of residence when attending the first tryout.

·         OMHA Players wishing to attend Waterloo tryouts will be required to present an OMHA Home Zone Release Letter.

·         Players who played in an adjacent centre on a AAA Waiver during their Minor Midget year have the option to remain with that centre.  Alternatively the player can attend tryouts in another centre following the guidelines above.
