March 02 at St. Catharines Hurricanes
On Sunday afternoon, the Ice Wolves travelled to the Garden City to renew hostilities with the Hurricanes.

Waterloo took the early lead as Will C. broke in all alone and unassisted.  Midway through the second, Alex V. did likewise giving Waterloo a 2 goal lead.  But St. Catharines would not quit, scoring at the end of the second and midway through the third to tie the score.

At 6:47 of the third, Matt S. made a colossal play, breaking through the Hurricane defense, driving to the net with players draped all over him and burying what proved to be the winning goal.  Will C. sealed the deal in the last minute of play with an empty netter, assisted by Matt S.

Waterloo played a complete game with many noteworthy performances.  Cole S. was a force applying the body.  Brett M. broke up numerous offensive rushes.  Hayden H. and Riley H. were puck moving virtuosos, executing numerous tape-to-tape passes.  In the nets, Zach W. battled all afternoon and flashed the leather to frustrate the Hurricane attack.

For his monster play at a monster moment, Matt S. has to be the monster of this game.
