Special congratulations go out to Gage Usiski and Ferguson Braid from the Waterloo MD Minor Atom Ice Wolves. The two goalies were awarded with the John Coombs Memorial Trophy for this season this weekend.
The John Coombs Memorial Trophy is presented annually to the MD goalies with the lowest goals against average from the Novice to Minor Pewee age group. John Coombs was a committed coach, volunteer and friend of Waterloo Minor Hockey Association. He passed away October 27th, 2003 from cancer.
The Coaches and Team would like to thank Gage and Fergus for all their hard work this season! These boys should be very proud of this accomplishment!
