To the Waterloo Mountain Wolves Family!
As the season is finishing up and I am down to the last few news posts, I want to say Thank you to everyone.
Thank you to the parents for your support day in and day out. You took the time to ensure your sons got to the ice on time for those early morning practices, made the long trips to games and tournaments and supported their development with extra training outside of the Mountain Wolves Team.
Thank you to the coaches. You have been there practice in and practice out encouraging the boys to work hard and have fun. You have guided their skates up and down the ice during games instructing them to work as a team. Without your continued committment, the boys would not have grown to where they are now. Your belief in them as individuals and as a team is appreciated.
To the boys on the Mountain Wolves team, way to go! We have watched you work hard, develop your hockey skills during practices and then utilize that knowledge in games. You have come a very long way since September and done an excellent job. You have had us all on the edge of our seats providing thrills and cheers. You have bonded as a team and developed new friendships this year. Be very proud of what you have accomplished this hockey season, hold your heads very high. Keep working hard.
Finally, thank you to the Mountain Wolves family for allowing me to ride the back of the bus. I have enjoyed taking all the photos of your future NHLers. I have watched you through the camera lenses and seen the vast improvement in all. You challenged me to be creative when writing the news articles. I am very grateful for this opportunity.
