Wolves Season Comes to an End
With their season on the line, the Minor Bantam Gold Wolves hosted London Green in Game 4 of their six point series.
Green was up 4 points to 2 entering the game, meaning the Wolves were in a must win situation. London got the only marker of the opening period, scoring off a rebound. London added another in the second, putting the Wolves down by two. Waterloo's best chance came late in the second when Gerth threaded a cross crease pass to Hyjek but the sure goal was taken away by a diving London defender. The Wolves could not get their offence in gear as the 2-0 score held up giving London the series win.
The Wolves lost only 11 games this season. Six of those losses were to London Green.
