6 point week for Peewee Gold
Congratulations to the Peewee Gold team for collecting  6points this week outscoring opponents 11-1 in the process

Wednesday night saw the Wolves travel to Kitchener to face a determined Kitchener Blue team.  The Wolves carried the play through the first two periods but found themselves in a scoreless battle after 2.  Hayden Scott opened the scoring on a breakaway and the line of Samuel Hepditch, Brayden Schneider and Brendan Bauer gave Blue fits in the 3rd.  Bauer banged in 2 for a 3-0 win.   Max Parrott earned his 5th shutout of the year in the process, continuing his dominant play.

Saturday night had the Wolves travel to the Allman arena in Stratford to face the Warriors.   The boys jumped out early as Dylan Henderson scored 2 quick ones, both assisted by Scott and Connor Arnold.  Henderson finished off the natural hat trick with a shorthanded marker.  Zach Gladding made a fantastic feed to Tyson Hillier to put the boys up 4-0.  Scott and Matt Schmidt added singles to finish off a 6-0 win.  Arnold had 4 assists in the win.   Daniel Bosomworth continued his strong play posting his 2nd shutout of the season.

Sunday saw the "Battle of Waterloo"  as the Black team faced Gold.  The game was back and forth until Hillier took a feed from Ben Markle and put it by Ryan DeWolfe, who was stellar all game.  The Black team bounced right back after a bad change by Gold and Carson Gebauer set up Aiden Brady to tie the score at 1 after the 2nd.  Matthew Diebolt scored a beautiful goal on the power play set up by Bauer to give Gold a narrow 2-1 win.  It was a great game by both teams and it was good to see the boys smiling with each other after the game.

Gold's defensive unit of Blake Near, Lukas Marschuetz, Reid Vrolyk, Ethan Januszkiewicz, Ben Markle and Matt Schmidt have been making huge strides and are the backbone of the team.  Gold has allowed 25 goals in 19 games due to the strong defensive play and goaltending.

Keep up the good work!
