The
Minor Peewee Gold Wolves won the Minor Peewee AA Division of the Toronto Aeros
Winter Challenge Tournament, held January 10-12, 2014.
The Wolves faced a tough schedule, and won all of their round robin games, finishing first in their division heading into the Finals. Game results were:
Wolves vs. Richmond Hill Stars: 5-0
Wolves vs. Toronto Aeros: 6-3
Wolves vs. Toronto Penguins: 2-1
Wolves vs. East Ender Ticats: 4-2
In the Finals, the Wolves faced the Troy Sting AA team. The Wolves were on the scoreboard early in the game, and by the end of the second period were dominating 4-2. By the end of the game, the Wolves added one more goal on their way to becoming tournament champions, winning the final game 5-2.
Strong team play and hard work from all made for a successful tournament. Congratulations, Wolves!
