Game #2 saw Waterloo facing off against the Stoney Creek Warriors Atom AE - the OMHA equivalent of an MD team.
Cole M. started in net for the Wolves on Friday afternoon. Stoney Creek scored first at 8:49 to take the lead. Stoney Creek took a penalty shortly after and Michael T. took advantage for an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1-1!
The second period saw only one penalty against Waterloo. There were two power plays as well, but Waterloo wasn't able to take advantage of these opportunities! Ethan H. scored the second goal for Waterloo assisted by Gabe M. to take the lead! Luke C. stepped into the net for the rest of the game. Michael T. assisted by Koren S. scored to bring the score up to 4-1. For the hat-trick, Michael T. scored the final goal of the game, unassisted!
